Join Our Team
Silversands Grenada is seeking a creative, strategic, and data-savvy Social Media Specialist to lead the brand’s storytelling across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Linkedin and Snapchat. This is an on-property role for someone deeply passionate about luxury hospitality, visual content, and social engagement. The ideal candidate will drive growth, develop immersive narratives, and ensure the brand voice is consistently reflected across all channels. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Champion a video-first content strategy with a focus on engaging, high-quality Reels and TikToks.
- Ensure all content aligns with the Silversands Grenada brand tone, aesthetic, and values.
Storytelling & Brand Alignment
- Develop compelling stories that highlight the unique experiences, people, and spirit of Silversands Grenada.
- Collaborate with the marketing and PR team to translate brand campaigns into engaging social formats.
Content Production
- Work closely with both international and local photographers and videographers to plan and capture visual content.
- Manage content creator/influencer strategies from planning to on-site execution.
- Participate in on-property shoots and site visits to capture real-time moments and stories.
Community & Growth
- Monitor and foster engagement across platforms; respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Identify trends and opportunities to increase follower growth and community interaction.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics.
- Use insights to inform monthly content planning and refine strategy for improved results.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support other digital marketing initiatives and website content tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with resort departments to capture and market seasonal activations, events, and guest moments.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management, preferably in luxury hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook platforms, algorithms and best practices.
- Proven experience developing engaging content strategies and leading visual storytelling projects.
- Proven ability to capture refined, visually compelling photography and video using iPhone and other devices, aligned with a premium brand aesthetic.
- Experience with SproutSocial preferred
- Proficiency in video-first content creation and digital storytelling tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite).

The role of our Bar Manager/Mixologist
Our Bar Manager/Mixologist is a specialist in cocktail creation, with advanced knowledge of ingredients, flavor combinations, and cocktail presentation and is responsible for curating and preparing beverages with exemplifying presentation skills with the expectation to exceed guest satisfaction.
The Bar Manager/Mixologist works as part of a team and takes an active role in organizing and maintaining the bar in accordance with hygiene standards, and responsible in organizing tasks break down and will assist the Food & Beverage Manager with the management of all aspects and functions of the bar outlets, in accordance with hotel standards.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma, certificate or CVQ in beverage service
- Computer knowledge and experience in MS office, Point of Sales, Inventory and purchasing programs.
- Previous experience in similar job role or three to five years supervisory experience in a luxury resort or restaurant.
- Experience in Hotel management software and Point of sale software preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of restaurant operations.
- Must be fluent in the English and good command of a numerical subject.
- Professionalism and excellent people management skills
- Quality awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to operate a Micros terminal
- Excellent inventory management
- Ability to create drink menus for special events and functions
- Exceptional guest engagement skills

The role of our Chief Steward
Our Chief Steward oversees a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in hospitality settings like yachts, hotels, or restaurants, managing staff, inventory, and supplies, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key duties involve supervising stewarding staff, managing stock and equipment, maintaining hygiene in kitchen and dining areas, and coordinating with other departments to provide excellent service.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Has prior 2 years related experience or is willing to be trained to the equivalent
- Requires knowledge of the principles and practices of Kitchen production and food
- Has ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations.
- Displays excellent customer service skills.
- Pleasant and positive personality.
- Is well organized and manages time efficiently.
- Has the ability to listen effectively.
- Speaks, reads, and writes English clearly to ascertain and document important
- information concisely and accurately.

- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
